How to connect to Xbox Live by using a windows 7 pc?
I need to connect to xbox live, but the problem is the room that holds the router is locked because the roommate left for spring break. But its broadcasting wireless. There has to be a way to connect to the wireless on my pc and use an ethernet to connect it between my laptop and my xbox to connect it to xbox live. Does anyone know how. The first person to give me a working answer will get the best answer. Thanks.
Hook the two up with the ethernet cable. Then go to windows media center and turn your xbox on. It will show up on the bottom that it found an extender. Connect it. Then follow through it. Then go to test connection on your xbox. Go to check pc connection. If it works do the same with check xbox live connection. I do this all the time. In fact i was playin cod mw2 a couple minutes ago through that. If it doesnt work try searching it on youtube. Good luck. Best answer????? plz dont listen to the lan port stuff. dont work.
